Compass AmeriCorps gives you a chance to meet new people, gain new skills, and earn money for college while helping people in your community. We seek applicants who are passionate about learning from and providing service to people from varied backgrounds and life experiences.
Similar to the Peace Corps, the AmeriCorps program engages more than 80,000 people across the U.S. in intensive service each year. AmeriCorps members serve 1700 hours over 11 months at a local nonprofit organization. The service year runs from September through July. You’ll be part of a passionate team that meets regularly for professional development and community service projects.
